Artists from the Black Hills Workshop's Suzie Cappa Art Center are showing their work at the Dahl Arts Center now through January 28. This is the 10 year anniversary of this community show and this year it is titled Threads, featuring fabric arts. The artist’s reception will be held November 18 from 4-6:30 p.m. The exhibit is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and Fridays 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
The Suzie Cappa Art Center was created in December 2001 in memory of artist Suzie Cappa and is supported annually by the Black Hills Workshop Foundation's annual fundraising event ~ Suzie's Royal Tea. The Suzie Cappa Art Center gives people with disabilities the opportunity to discover and appreciate art and to develop as artists. Artists work collaboratively and individually in a wide variety of mediums.
